Who is Mr Miller?

Mr Miller qualified from St Bartholomew’s Hospital London.  He became Senior Lecturer at The Institute of Urology and was appointed Head of Department at the Whittington Hospital.  In 2006 He gained honorary contracts at UCH and The Royal Free Regional Cancer Centres.

He now practices privately from The Hospital of St John and St Elizabeth and Highgate Private Hospital.  He is appraised yearly and validated for medical practice. His clinical practice has benefitted from an extensive research background.

He has 30 years of consultant level urology experience. He is an internationally acknowledged pioneer and expert in minimally invasive and medical treatments where appropriate. His vast experience is usefully brought to bear on difficult clinical problems.

  • Stone Surgery – Endoscopic, Open Surgery and Shock Wave Treatment (ESWL)
  • Nerve Blocks – Bladder and Scrotum (local anaesthetic, steroid and Botox injections)
  • Scrotal Surgery – Hydrocele, Epidydimal Cysts, Biopsies, Removal of testes, Prosthesis placement
  • Circumcision
  • Endoscopic treatments for Bladder Tumours

 

Mr Miller does not see children under the age of 18 years.  He is happy to give a second opinion on major surgical issues.

Mr Miller is an approved consultant with most insurer: BUPA, PPP, Simply Health, Norwich Union, Cigna, Civil Service Scheme and many others.  Direct settlement is possible.

Outpatient Fees (uninsured patients)

New Patient Consultation – £250

Follow up Consultation – £180

Patients not seen in the preceding 3 years will be classified as a new patient (£250)  even if similar symptomatology experienced.

Operative Fees (uninsured patients)

Quotations given for uninsured patient (please call 02083413422)

Hospital Package Deals can be arranged.

 

Please note that the patient remains responsible for settlement of their accounts or any balance outstanding from insurance companies.  Invoices should be paid within 30 days of receipt.  Interest is payment on late fees (8% plus the Bank of England base rate), Debt recovery cost will be charged up to 20% +VAT if accounts are not settled in a timely fashion.

5th January 2017 – Urology Chambers Limited celebrated its 5th Anniversary at The Ritz.

We all raised a glass of champagne and will be looking forward to another successful year.

Mr Miller presented at GP Seminar 23rd Jan 2017 – Cauda Equina Syndrome and The Role of the GP.

Mr Miller received excellent feedback from participants. Scoring between 4.8 and 4.9 out of 5 in all audited aspects of his presentation. Mr Miller continues his keen interest in communicating with GP colleagues and assisting them with urological and legal problems.

Mr Miller presented at GP National Symposium 4th February 2017 – Female Urinary Conditions in General Practice.

Scoring an average of 4.8 out of 5 in all feedback categories. This is a great opportunity to deal with this important subject which is often misunderstood by GPs and patients.

4th March 2017 – Georgina Miller (Part-time Clerical Assistant)

Celebrated her 18th Birthday and one year working at Urology Chambers Limited.

7-8th March 2017 Mr Miller attended The World Congress in Minimally Invasive Surgery and gave the key note address on Renal Stone Treatment Past Present and Future.

This was not only an opportunity to meet colleagues from all over the world but also to highlight the latest developments and potential future innovations in Stone Management.

10th March 2017 BMA Medical Legal Conference London Mr Miller presented on Medical Manslaughter.

Mr Miller was invited to present at this meeting as he was responsible for the evidence which convicted and imprisoned the first urologist on such charges. He has also been involved as an expert witness in the defence of urologist potentially liable for such charges on behalf of The Defence Unions. This lecture involved a lively debate and many questions from the audience who were keen to hear about the impact of medical manslaughter legislation, wilful neglect and corporate manslaughter and the effect it will have on Defensive Medicine
