Common Urological Complaints

Scrotal Swellings

The discovery of any scrotal swelling is frightening.

The majority of patients immediately assume they have testicular cancer.

Fortunately, this is not the case in most instances. We can usually determine if a patient has testicular cancer by a simple examination.

More often they will have epidydimal cysts and hydroceles which are amenable to simple day case treatment.

We are very happy to see patients urgently and quickly identify the cause of a scrotal swelling and offer prompt and effective treatment.
